VOLUNTEERS WANTED! Join us in RESURRECTING PAHRUMP’S “ZOMBIE LOTS” for a day.

Meet at 9:00 a.m. in front of the Pahrump Nugget (Last team leaves the Nugget no later than 9:20am)

Pahrump has thousands of privately owned residential lots without the utilities needed to build a home. Many of the owners live out of state yet continue paying property taxes on land they cannot use in hopes that one day they can. We’re working with the county to get attention that real people deserve their rights.

A few owners have given permission to decorate their lot for one day. Help us temporarily decorate these Utility-Challenged “Zombie Lots” with funny, spooky or thought-provoking Halloween displays. We’ll photograph each display and then remove everything, leaving every property as we found it.

You do not need to stay all day! Come as you are or wear a costume. Bring a chair, sign, Halloween decorations, or simply bring yourself and your creativity to help others! Photos will be publicized and entered into a contest for the team’s creativity, and also sent to the owners as a thank you for allowing us to have fun for the day while we continue to bring light to these lots that are needing revival.

Volunteers will receive a special treat, group photo and “Official Zombie Lot Resurrector” certificate.

You do not need to own a lot or belong to our group. We have many caring residents who realize the injustice these owners face. We want to resurrect these lots so the county knows they’re not dead.
